The Country Comparison Paper for HSC 420 Global Health consists of a comparison of the health disparities of 4 countries, each at different economic levels. Some other comparison points that required research consisted of the health indicators: life expectancy, total fertility rate, infant mortality rate, and maternal mortality rate. This assignment also required the utilization of health science to devise a solution for countries that were suffering from the the health indicators, along with considering educational needs. This assignment best represents competency Area IV: Conduct Evaluation and Research Related to Health Education/Promotion. This assignment has helped provide me with a better understanding on the correlations between certain health indicators and economic status, along with a multitude of other factors to take into consideration. My goal for continued learning would be in testing out the devised solutions in an attempt to improve the health indicators that suffer.
